關於本會

台灣精準兒童健康協會(TPCHA, Taiwan Precision Child Health Association)為依法設立、非以營利為目的之社會團體，結合學術與醫療專業有志人士，建立民眾對兒童成長、運動、營養及睡眠正確觀念，降低環境汙染物暴露，促進兒童生理、心理之健全發展為宗旨。

協會緣起

2019年是中山醫大附設醫院遺傳諮詢中心與國家衛生研究院環醫所共同合作台灣環境荷爾蒙物質暴露追蹤研究20年的重要時刻，這20年中因著機緣在各自領域中接觸到多位專家學者，藉著交流更加充實進步。

同年與兒科醫療幾位好友共同出席在維也納歐洲兒童內分泌會議(ESPE)，在研習與分享中默默的醞釀出為台灣兒童健康再多做一點事的夢想，因為除了臨床醫療，我們更加在乎預防的觀念和正確的生活型態。

2020年春，更多專家願意為台灣兒童健康投注心力，於是在兒科醫療以外，結合了運動、營養、心理、公衛、睡眠的專業，促成台灣精準兒童健康協會的雛型。經過多方的徵詢及請益，獲得了來自中西醫、檢驗、研究與實業菁英們共襄盛舉，於2020年六月正式取得內政部核准，成立台灣精準兒童健康協會。

Association Introduction

Taiwan Precision Child Health Association (TPCHA) is a legally established, non-profit social organisation bringing together aspirational academic and medical professionals with the aim of establishing, for the general public, the following: correct guidelines regarding children’s growth, exercise, nutrition and sleep; reducing exposure to environmental pollutants; promoting children’s physical and psychological development.

Association Origins

2019 is an important moment in the 20-year history of cooperation between the Genetic Counseling Centre of the Chung-Shan Medical University Hospital and the Taiwan National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences at National Health Research Institutes, for the purpose of environmental hormone exposure tracking research. Over the course of the last two decades, many experts and scholars from different fields have been coming together with the aim of exchanging experiences and achievements.

In the same year, several colleagues and I attended the European Society for Paediatric Endocrinology (ESPE) in Vienna. During this conference, I became inspired and filled with the desire to try to do something more for the health of children in Taiwan. Besides clinical practice, I realised that we should be paying more attention to the concept of disease prevention and correct lifestyle for Taiwanese children.

Since the spring of 2020, more experts have been willing to devote their efforts to improving the health of children in Taiwan. Therefore, in addition to paediatric medical care, we have been bringing together experts in the fields of sports, nutrition, psychology, public health, and sleep, in order to establish the first TPCHA initiative. After numerous consultations and requests, we have many elites from Western and Chinese medicine, laboratories, research and industry. In June 2020, Taiwan Precision Child Health Association was officially approved by the Ministry of the Interior.
